Hot off the presses: CSW Agreed Conclusions

After staying up until 4 am negotiating last Friday, the member states have finally presented us with the CSW Agreed Conclusions. This document serves as the outcome on the theme of Financing for Gender Equality and has important implications for the review of the financing for development meetings later this year.

Ecumenical Statement Submitted to United Nations

With much collaboration and input, Ecumenical Women have submitted a statement on financing for gender equality to the 52nd Commission on the Status of Women. Entitled “Justice for the poor and care for life and creation continue to be at the heart of the matter” the statement incorporates the six themes of the Monterrey Concensus on financing for development to financing for gender equality.
